Confirmation that Quicksilver is not FTL

Theres been a scan of Quicksilvers only time traveling faster than light floating around.

So I asked the Vice President of Marvel Comiccs:

Also edit - I prioritize what writers say over feats (Since they have full control over the characters), so if that screen shot is really true then I guess Quicksilver really isn't any where near lightspeed, and those light speed feats of his are mistakes. Still like'em and respect him as a character though.

I don't think any earthbound character should be FTL. Maybe heralds or certain "gods" but not regular heroes.

Crap so he really is nowhere near the speed of light. I just compared two of his best feats, and once the math is done he really is far from being lightspeed.

yea, everyone already had suspicions of that single time he went Faster than Light because he had never done anything close to that and so i asked Tom and thats the answer he came back with. Atleast now we know that its WIS for sure.

i encourage you to do it. ive had like 10 screen grabs that i use in my debates to prove points. and even more times ive talked to writers/artists/editors . theyre good people mostly and are pretty good with answering questions fans might have.

I'm gonna check it out. Hearing things straight from the horses mouth with as little speculation as possible makes debating much more fluid when you can make points that actually are facts. Truth be told I can also go to sleep at night with a definite answer as supposed to a bucket load of theories.
