Hiya boss! Time for the voting thread again!

There's really only one rule. Vote for someone and give a reason why. As always, "saying GMan curbstomps" is a terrible reason, and he can't win anyway, since he's already won. Just give a link to the user's main page and if you want, maybe something they've done on the Vine you thought was awesome. Simple as that.

Ok, so there's another rule. Only nominate two people.

Again, this isn't a popularity contest, and the winner is still chosen by what they've done on the site, and not how many friends voted for them.

The winner will be interviewed and the article posted on Friday afternoon.

Voting begins now and will close on Thursday 4/26 at 12pm Central time.

Don't vote for the people below, they've already won.

I nominate TheGoldenOne. He has an impressive amount of points in the Thor Category, is a driving force in the Off-Topic boards, along with Batson and ComicMan. Furthermore he likes Octopus, so what's not to love?

Still thinking on a second one...

hahahahaha! the fact that you compare him to Batson as a "driving force" in the Off-Topic boards should disqualify him immediately

I don't know, after the winner last week I don't think I have much faith in this award

Pffft, I hear that the winner last week bribed the staff or something. Dirty mofoe, he must be.

I was the original nominee of the last winner, and I still regret it.

As for my nominees this week, I will go with:

Avenging X-Bolt for running the DC Genesis fan fiction group and a few others (and really I think we have only highlighted one fan fic person in the entire run of these so maybe it is time for another?)

@RazzaTazz: Not so fast, sweetheart. I've got finals to get through first.

My vote is ever for Uncas007. This guy mainly does reviews and, while just barely over a year, he's authored 95 reviews that all have a component that sets them apart from others. He takes a contextual look at each issue, not only with the current arc of a series but with how things were viewed at the time of the issue's release. I enjoy few reviews; I enjoy most of his.

You nominated him and you didn't even know who he was?

There's another reason why I never liked this contest. >:(

I thin k there are lots of good choices left, just the majority who get the attention are forum posters.  Of course people that work in the wiki or reviews might never know they won this

Agreed. CB gets my vote.

beatboks hasn't won yet? For shame. I vote beatboks. He has SAS training, so he can fight a bear with a standard issue hunting knife and win. I think. He also knows absolutely everything about every character who has ever been associated with the JSA, his specialty, as well as a plethora of other characters. Only fools try to debate with beatboks on characters like Alan Scott and Dr. Fate. He also has nearly 13, 000 wiki points, and he organized the last two installments of the Debater's Hall of Fame

Which is why it should be Community Spotlight.

Note: As of this morning, Community Star will no longer be weekly. It's something we've been talking about for a few weeks, and after this one, it goes monthly.

There will be a new feature on Fridays to take its place, starting next week.

This is a pretty good idea I think.

A smart move, really beginning to run out of people by now.

I better win this week so it goes out on a good note?

Thats what I was thinking, the new Friday features should be about how awesome the previous winners are

Yeah, that's exactly what you need... Two wins.
