Comicvine rip-off?

There is this site called Giant Bomb. It look exactly like Comicvine, so I am thinking it is made by the same corporation. Is it?

It's made by the same company. GiantBomb also started before CV I think.

CV was the first of the Whiskey Media sites, actually. GB came a little while after. Then Anime Vice, then Tested, then Screened (although Screened may have come before Tested, I honestly can't remember).

But yeah, to answer the OP, it's not a CV rip off, they were created by the same people under the Whiskey Media banner, and then when Whiskey Media dissolved, they were both bought by CBSi, while Screened (which is now defunct), Tested and Anime Vice went to BermanBraun. I think that AV is almost entirely user-run at this point, and Tested is associated with the Mythbusters.

isnt giant bomb what this site is for comics but for video game??
