Comics Art Style

Does anyone else hate how the new art style for comics is. This is something that's been bugging me for a while. Like say in the beginning of comics up until like the late 90's, the art style was more "cartoony" or "animated". But now they draw more realistically or just more vivid, I guess. It just makes it look weirder and makes a comic book less enjoyable than the classic, older style in my opinion.

Its just natural progression of style. Nearly the entire industry gets into patterns where almost all art looks the same. I personally really like the modern art style and hope it sticks around for a while. I'm glad that the 90's over exaggerated muscles trend has died out personally.
