A day later than normal, but well worth the wait. Thanks for breaking down the news of the week for us, Sara. And "Hurray!" for the return of the glasses.
this video can use an audio adjustment, no offense sara.
Aww no bloopers this week Sara? haha too bad they are fun.
I think DC should but Bats to bed for a whileI'm happy that Nolan's done with Batman after rises, not that I didn't enjoy "Generic vigilante begins" and "The Generic Vigilante" but I think I'd like a Batman movie thats... ya know... got Batman in it.
Wow didn't hear about the game at all. I'll have to check that out! Great wrap-up, Sara! ^_^

And I'd like to join the X-Men but I don't think that'll happen either :/
I don't think they need to put him to bed though, just take it in a different direction.
Reboot it, but don't do an origin story (everyone already knows it). Sign up some great young actors for a bunch of films (like Marvel did with the avengers). And do like one Batman epic, 5 or 6 movies, and 3 Justice League movies, over the next 15 - 20 years or so. It could cover the Robins, Jason getting killed, killing joke, stuff about Damien, Court of Owls, and end it on a Dark Knight returns ish story, but a bit more grounded (without the Dark Knight returns chin) and tie it into a Superman epic that would be done with the same number of films, and cover all the big points of his life etc.
That won't happen of course.... but it would be nice (and I think very profitable) if they did it.
So was it announced who won those thumb drives yet?
Batman has had 7 or 8 films and Superman has had 5 with the 6th on the way, it's time to do something different@spiderbat87 said:

SoUnD BaLaNcE, Sara!
And Warner Brothers! Please STOP! You don't have to keep selling me on The Dark Knight Rises! I will be there when it opens! You will get my money! Probably LOTS of my money! ENOUGH with the posters and trailers and viral campaigns and interviews and... JUST STOP!... And with that being said, I'm not with any of these other folks who can't wait for Nolan to go.
Spider-Man looks shaky (And so does Dredd). I'm hopeful (and I will see it when it's released), but I'm not very excited about it.
And more non-DC/Marvel news, please. Talk about the little guys for a change... Just sayin'.
Great Weekly News Video as always!

Yeah, I'm sure she's the one that edited it.
@thechessclub: So, whenever Sara misses the podcast and Tony explains she's busy editing the news segment, they're lying? Or you don't think she can or something?
@spiderbat87: seems like DC is just too scared to open up their MASSIVE stable of superheroes to the world....Marvel took the plunge with Iron man, Cap and Thor and since hey did it soooo well it turned out great for them. DC should definely try and do the same, I mean I'd go watch a Wonder Woman, GL, Aquaman or Flash movie, just get it right DC!

I've never listened to any of the podcasts. I'm sure they're great fun though. Just figured they wouldn't make her film it AND edit the footy.
DC need to try some different heroes instead of Bats and Supes for once, discounting green lantern as well, 'cus that was no where nearly adequate.
@feargalr: Bale acts how I'd imagine Batman/Wayne to act in a realistic setting, serious and contemplative, a trained ninja. I wouldn't be surprised if the vigilante archetype closely resembles Batman anyway.
ya'll need a better boom-mic. The non-VO segments are way too quiet.
@csl316:
Eh, they've been releasing a lot of movies, but I wouldn't call Hulk/Thor/IM2 or Cap 'stellar'.
@CrashLanden:
I didn't have any real trouble with the audio. The volumes sounded a bit different between intro and outro cuts. Could have used a bit more volume on those, but I didn't have any trouble hearing her. I didn't find it distracting either. The middle news portion sounded great and even.
@thechessclub:
I believe that she does edit her own videos now. They currently don't have a video editor.
Interesting... A little but a raid in there

You're right, I'm probably overselling. Although I really dug Cap, dug IM1 more, and The Avengers is The Avengers. So 3 movies is still pretty cool in my book.
Can't wait to see DREDD....it looks sooooooooooo badass ...(^^,)
