Doop!

Batwoman is great but damn, CV is too high on that book.

#6 Posted by TheMinister (1131 posts) - - Show Bio

Yeah! I love Batwoman! And Arcane was definitely a wild card here, but well deserved. Never thought of him making it!

Well, keep in mind that Batman for the longest time was winning almost all of the catagories. I think that series having streaks of about 4 months or so of nonstop winning is a little too much in my book.

Earlier in the year I thought I thought we would be seeing much more of her series because of the popularity when it first came out, but for a while it vanished from the comic branch of this contest. She has won best female hero a few times but this is the first time in a while she has won other categories.

@The Poet:

Wolverine and the XMEN #17 featuring Doop should have won all the awards. lol

that was a close contender for the Marvel category. Daredevil, Incredible Hulk and Wolverine and the X-men were tied for 5th place. However to fix that tie I looked at the total each series had for this competition (which is also where I get the Best Comic of the month from) and Daredevil had the most out of all 3 of them so I placed that in 5th place.

However, technically Wolverine and the X-men won 5th place; the same way there were other ties in this competition I could name....

Anton Arcane is SOOOO freaky!

Also, I'm glad that I'll be one of the four people voting for the wildcard.

@cosmo111687: thanks

oh, i realized I didn't say what the community project list was when i mentioned it before I posted it...

I've started Comic Vine's Top 100 Superheroes 2012 and almost have the nominator slots filled. of course community nominations will be next week so people who don't get to be part of the 20 will be alright...

#20 Posted by Deranged Midget (17854 posts) - - Show Bio

I'm happy I usually agree with the results :D

@MadeinBangladesh: For a few months we hardly had any good Marvel nominations. This past month Marvel swept the best cover art category. I for one hardly read Marvel and stopped reading Wolvie and the X-Men simply because of AvX (plus trying to limit my spending). Good to know Aaron is delivering a solid comic.

Personally, Batwoman was my favorite overall book last month. Plus I'm happy Batman & Robin got some serious respect last month.
