Nice to see some titles I read make the top 5s. :)

@V_Scarlotte_Rose: thank you all for voting! I even thank with his 1 vote :P

side note although I love how many people we got to participate, but copying pasting all these names is much harder when the list of participants is longer...

I can't believe how many people voted for Hurricane Sandy. I put her on my list as a joke.......

#4 Posted by SavageDragon (2252 posts) - - Show Bio

Wow Saga kicking butt. Glad to see it.

I am kind of thankful it didn't win 1st place because I would have no idea what to use as a picture...

I think I had a hard enough time with Kate Bishop because everyone voted her as "Katie Kate - Hawkeye #7" (I will admit I have NO idea who won female hero this month with that strange name. I can assume they meant Ms. Bishop but not being a constant reader of that series I don't know...)

@The Poet: You could use a picture of Chris Christie in a FEMA jacket for Hurricane Sandy......
#7 Posted by The Poet (8336 posts) - - Show Bio

@judasnixon: that's true...hadn't thought of that...

nice! it's pretty interesting seeing what won, and even more surprising seeing how man ties there were. can't wait for february's voting to commence, i already got some issues in mind lol. woo! :D

#9 Posted by MadeinBangladesh (6824 posts) - - Show Bio

holy crap how did Saga get all those points :O

Love seeing Hawkeye coming up!

but Batman still finds a way to get in every category

Hurricane Sandy should have won instead of Spiral...she barely did anything in UXF

Since I'm suposed to be transparent I should add that the ties were much worse. exibit A in the form of Best Cover:

  1. Saga #9 16
  2. All-New X-Men #5/#6 10
  3. Batwoman #16 9
  4. Superior Spider- Man #1 6
  • Deadpool #4 5
  • Deadpool Killustrated #1 5
  • Hawkeye #7 5
  • Journey into Mystery #648 5
  • New Avengers #2 5
  • Red Hood and the Outlaws #16 5

I hope I didn't hurt anyone's feelings, but I was NOT including all those covers :P

edit addition: that was the only thing I left out.

yeah I'm wondering about those 85 points so maybe I'll double check that (mainly because I'm doubting myself :P ) but then again there were a lot of votes for Saga.

Quite a difference from other months...

Saga, my favorite comic, beat Batman. Love it!

I just hope it wasn't the last appearance of The Stalk... there's always hope!

I guess I could. Compiling votes is probably what I would get someone else to do. you know, like copy/pasting them into my spreadsheet. But the rest like calculating/adding covers I have to do (calculating is easy and I can get covers easy since Comic Resources posts covers)

@The Poet: When does voting for the Wild Card for February begin?

#18 Posted by The Poet (8336 posts) - - Show Bio

@usabfb: well, you and the other people who voted for the #1 for the Jan Wild Card will be sent a pm some time between the 17 and the 27. And in that group pm you guys will discuss and agree upon what the Feb edition wild card should be. I will include a list of suggestions but ultimately it'll be up to you guys (as long as I feel comfortable associating myself with the topic that is...)

Well, it's usually fairly high. or at least it places often. It's a steady series. it doesn't get the fluctuations Batman has with his series (Inc was really popular and now nonexistent on the results. It used to always place at the very least for the Best F. Villain but even that has declined), but it places and get steady votes. This was one of the few months where WW didn't win the category which is interesting...
