There are a few members of Comic Vine that have dabbled in virtually every area of our website -- but TerryMcC basically has. With countless blogs, 184,928 wiki points, 10 lists, nearly 200 forum posts and much more, TerryMcC has managed to get involved in nearly every aspect of Comic Vine -- and we love him for it.
One of the coolest things about Terry is the fact that he's such a fan of Golden Age comic books. In fact, there are not a lot of people on CV with as extensive an amount of knowledge about the Golden Age as TerryMcC -- least of all, interest. Many of his recent blogs are prime examples of this, in which he showcases comic releases from 50 years ago. Take, for example his blog '50 Years Ago This April' which puts into perspective events in America (Terry cites JFK, UFO's and the U.S.'s relationship with Communist Russia) in relation to the types of comic books being released at the time. We had a hard time choosing between the giant Batman terrorizing Gotham...
Well, and just what ELSE would you expect a giant Batman to do? Laugh if you want, I would not put it past them to bring this back in some form of other.
And his caption for an issue of 'Aquaman and Aqualad,' both equally pretty hilarious.

== TEASER ==TerryMcC's blogs definitely have a certain charm. His tongue in cheek commentary is often hilarious, and his observations of comic concepts through the ages is very interesting. His blog 'He Ain't Heavy, He's a Boost To Sales This Month!' is one of our favorites. In it he references several comic book covers which depicts the mourning hero carrying their wounded/dead sidekick/relative/girlfriend. It's fantastic. The title for the blog is extremely appropriate and there is no question that each time a comic cover depicted that image of the hero mourning and carrying the fallen, sales inevitably went up.
TerryMcC has brought up more serious issues as well, dealing with racism in his 'Voodah & Jano, Now With Whitening Power' blog where he describes how the characters were caucasian on the covers of the comics, but that in the interior of the first three issues of the books the main characters were African.
While on the cover Voodah was always show as yet another `white jungle lord’ cut from the Tarzan mold, on the inside, at least for the first three issues, he and his female companion Jano, where themselves African.

TerryMcC has also made many contributions to Comic Vine's wiki database. Some of his submissions include the Nagraj character page (581 points), Hercules (486 points) and Captain Midnight (331 points) to name a few. TerryMcC has also compiled some very entertaining lists including 'Heroes and Heroines of the Philippines,' 'The Legion of Weird Heroes,' and 'Heroes with Disabilities.'
All in all, TerryMcC has made some absolutely fantastic contributions to Comic Vine that go beyond the wiki database. He's shared his Golden Age knowledge with us and we are definitely lucky to have him as a member of our community.
