One of the cool things about Comic Vine is the sense of community that the site has. To show you guys we appreciate everything you do to contribute and invigorate our website and community, we've developed Comic Vine's Community Star- a post that specifically highlights something one of you has accomplished. This week's Community Star Award goes to ComicMan24. While he has only officially been contributing to our community for the last year (he joined last May), ComicMan24 has known about Comic Vine almost since it's inception in 2007 (Comic Vine launched in 2006). One of the big reasons why he decided to join is because of the community.
I think I speak for many of us when I say we are all a little bit addicted to the quests, am I right?"One of the main reasons I come here, is the community I must say. I have met some very good people. Plus I like the wiki and the quests. I admit it, I am a quest addict lol"

ComicMan24 has contributed to Comic Vine in a variety of different ways. He has helped fill in pages to a variety of obscure comic characters ( Sirocco, Tyrell) and as a result, has accumulated 790 wiki points. What really blew me away, though, was just how much he loves the community! In fact, the number of forum posts he has accumulated be proof enough of that. Since he first joined last May, ComicMan24 has acquired 54,141 forum posts! I guess somebody really likes to talk..er..type!
Probably the coolest thing ComicMan24 has contributed to the site are his lists. Of all the lists, ' Superman Homages' is probably my favorite where ComicMan24 lists all the different comic book characters that are based on his favorite character, Superman.
I have always said that a hero is only as interesting as his rogues gallery- and evidently, ComicMan24 feels the same way. His list of Evil Counterparts makes that evident, where he highlights well known villains like HUSH and General Zod, to lesser known villains like Doctor Impossible and Devastation.
Some other cool things you may not know about ComicMan24 are:
- He read comics in the past, but what really got him into comics were the Warner Brothers Animated cartoons 'Justice League' and 'Justice League Unlimited.'
- His favorite character is Superman. Superman was one of the first comic book characters he learned about as a kid, and he grew up watching all his movies and cartoons.
- His favorite food is spaghetti
- And he doesn't like musicals
