Alan Moore easily.

Seriously, you should think more about making these matches. You can't put the most influencial or the best writers in the first ir second round. For example i'll give you a battle that was i think in the first round : "Alan Moore vs Frank Miller" these two are one of the most influencial and the most creative and the best writers in the comic book history. And yet you've put them to fight in the first round. It just doesn't make sense. What willbe the last battle? Alan Moore vs Whinick?

I don't think about them. It's random. But I understand your problem.

Many of Stan Lee's lines are instantly recognisable and character defining -

"With great power there must also come... great responsibilty!"

His and Ditko's origin for Spider-Man is memorable and concise, expressing its ideas and morals clearly and with few pages.
