Comic Book Question of the Week: What Are You Thankful for This Year?

Thankful for the entire MCU and more movies to come. Oh Arrow and Man Of Steel also.

DANGIT! I meant to click a specific series but I hit specific publisher before I hit submit. I am thankful for Image, however. I've started to tire of superheroes. It's the same thing over and over again so Image has provided something new for me. What I was going to actually say was a specific series which would be "The Sandman: Overture" This got me interested in Dream and I now have bought 6 of the trades and it only came out last month! I love that book and I am thankful to Neil Gaiman for the awesome and revolutionary idea that he had.

Thankful for a bunch of great series, of course Batman team, the new Green Arrow team, and All-New, and Uncanny X-men, and GoG.

Although im not thankful that he died I am thankful for damians dramatic death in Batman inc. reminding me of the emotional connection i feel with these characters

Thankful for TMNT: City Fall and Scarlet Spider (while it lasts)

I picked a comic book series (with Hawkeye, Thor, Adventures of Superman and the upcoming Harley Quinn in mind) but what I'm really thankful for is that I'm alive.

Thankful for giving Image Comics a try and loving their work. Also joining this site to hopefully make some new comic fan friends!

Imma go with not just Origins, but the entire Arkham series. I just got into it this year and must day I'm DEEPLY impressed. It's my current favorite game and am extremely dissapointed I can't play any of them on my Xbox One. (first world probs)

I think I am most thankful for discovering this site. I was a lonely teenager in the suburbs of Los Angeles with no one to discuss all the cool stuff that goes on around us and i found this site which is probably the greatest thing ever. I have not officially met but talked to people from pretty much everywhere and get to interact with people who share similar interests.

I am thankful for all fifty-two 'Villains Month' comics that entertained me this September, which I spent over $500 on ^_^

I really liked Battle of the Atom. first thing that pops into my head, probably because I just read it. I'm thankful for All-new X-men in general. It's been a fun series so far.

THE RETURN OF STEPHANIE BROWN BEING CONFIRMED

On the phone, so can't elaborate ultra-much, but I think I'm grateful for comics in general. I was out of it, I was out of a lot of things.. Then I got into D&D, and had a hankering for good art and fun stories, which led me to comics. Which led me to Demon Knights, and me getting a pull list. It's not large, Demon Knights got canceled, but I found a comic store and I'm finding comics I like and classics I missed and I can walk around my sorta local comic store and feel like I know my way. So I guess that's what I'm thankful for. So thanks Demon Knights, you were utterly excellent

Edit: Oh, and this site, for helping me get into comics in a big way!

Though I don't celebrate Thanksgiving, I'm thankful Tailgate didn't die in More than Meets the Eye

I am thankful for my Sideshow Batman Life size bust in black and grey. I was hesitant to spend nearly 600€ for a collectible, but now having it on my shelf... So worth it.

Also Man of Steel, since it really is the Superman movie I have always wanted.

Immensely thankful for the blessing that is IDW's TMNT series.

I'm thankful for a Marvel event that finally hits all the right notes with Infinity, and for Charles Soule taking over Thunderbolts.

For this year... marvel was just okay for me... DC was too... but thats where the team Sny-llo impressed the shit out of me. And trinity war too.

Snyder's and Capullo's run on Batman and the whole Death of the Family storyline.

I'm thankful for.... Rocket Racoon, Yondu, Antman and Wasp, Quicksilver and Scarlett Witch, Falcon, Ultron, Winter Solider, Gamora, Star-Lord, The Collector, The Infinity Gauntlet story arch, Groot, Drax, and the android that is now Coulson being weaponized by Ultron in A2 and becoming the Vision, and IM becoming Exstrimis enhanced in A2 after relizing that even Jarvis, after becoming Ultron cant be trusted with his tech and puts the control center of his new tech in his brain so Ultron cant use it.

Thank you Marvel for the MCU and making all my child hood dreams come true.
