It's time for Thanksgiving here in North America and, when we take a moment from stuffing our bellies with massive amounts of food, we're supposed to reflect and let everyone know what we're grateful for. So, we thought it would be fitting to apply the same mentality to the question of the week. But, instead of pondering about your life in general, let's narrow it down and focus on the one thing we all love here: comic books. And if you don't love 'em, what are you doing here?

Seeing as we can't read minds (...or can we?), making a poll with specific options would be pretty much impossible. Because of that, the poll has vague categories and we encourage you to specify in the comments after you cast your vote. If you're thankful for a certain creative team, tell us who was on it and why you're happy about it. Or, did you love a specific movie, show, figure or video game? Once again, don't be shy and tell us below. There was a lot to love this year, so make sure to really think about it before voting.

The poll will remain open until Thursday morning (ET). Once it's locked, a new article will go live with the results and more. If you want to go the extra mile, go ahead and get your elaboration on. Make it awesome enough and we just may highlight it if it's about the poll's winning option! Check the homepage Thursday to see the results and more!

There are a few things im super thankful for in the realms of comics this year, but one thing that I am super thankful for is Valiant.

I only ever read Marvel and DC up until last year, when I decided to give Valiant a go and now read all Valiant titles and love them all. While I did actually start reading last year, they have consistently been stories I look forward to well into this year as well.

Infinity has been great. If all goes well tomorrow with issue 6 and New Avengers, it will be my favorite story of 2013 and probably of the past couple years.

Valiant has been a fantastic change of pace from the Big Two while staying in a shared universe. Harbinger Wars is currently my favorite story of the year.

I'm thankful for Image. I made a resolution back in May to try out a whole new publisher and I discovered several of my all time favorite series. I am so glad that this publisher has broadened my horizons so much.

Thankful to have an often intelligent community, of like-minded individuals, who share my interests, and whom have provided me with countless hours of distraction during travel, slow days at work, and overall crappy days. Seriously, thanks to all the fanboys who keep this site running strong.
