We give Marvel and DC plenty of love here at Comic Vine and thus far they've been the focus of the question of the week segment, but it's time to switch that up a bit. With JUPITER'S LEGACY #1, EAST OF WEST #2 and so many other great indie books hitting the stands this week, I thought it was time to see which non-Marvel/DC book the Comic Vine community loves the most. We've packed with poll with 15 options, but clearly we couldn't catch 'em all. So, if your favorite isn't on the list, vote "other" and then comment with what title you have in mind.CLICK HERE TO VOTE!

Don't worry, I'll be sure to stroke your ego some more next week, Marvel/DC!
Don't worry, I'll be sure to stroke your ego some more next week, Marvel/DC!

Voting will remain open until Thursday morning (ET)! A new feature with the poll's results will be on the homepage shortly after, so don't forget to check back then. Now go vote and you're more than welcome to cheerlead for your favorite title!

Hardest question so far. I can't decide between SAGA, THE WALKING DEAD & good ol' CHEW.

All non-Marvel/DC are being deemed as such for simplicity's sake.

Also loving Great Pacific.

And, although it's not an ongoing series, I bought and read The Underwater Welder recently and it was wonderful. I adore Jeff Lemire and all he does.

Saga is the only title on the list that I have actually read. Picked up 1-6 in trade, got 7-12 somewhat inexpensively on eBay, its on my pull list now though. That being said, I want to read several of the other titles including; The Walking Dead, (love the show, intimidated by how many issues in it is) East of West, and The Legacy of Luthor Strode.

Well, this is a hard one, my entire pull-list is made of Indie books.

I think SAGA, Bedlam, Fatale...

This one's a tough one. I'd have to go with: Revival, Saga, Morning Glories, American Vampire (not sure if this one counts as indie or not), and Fatale. Tough to even choose between those five.

Might look into Saga's TP since everyone's loving it. Invincible got my vote, loving it!

@hawkguy: The first Saga trade collects the first six issues IIRC and has a cover price of $9.99, which is a steal. It's an amazing book, I'd definitely recommend it.

Love your username btw.

Its very hard question since I normally read indies for the majority of my books. So my top six right now are Black Beetle, Savage Dragon, Saga, Walking Dead, Morning Glories and Fatale and Bloodshot.

If I had to pick one I would say Fatale right now.

For a single book, right now would probably be The Walking Dead, but I really like whats going on in the Top Cow universe also.

BTW. Anyone remember when Vertigo had the best indie books, now Image is coming out with some great stuff.

Uh... At this point, what qualifies an Indie book? I don't at all consider The Walking Dead to be an indie title due to the amount of money it's raking in, the popularity, and the fact that Image is one of the bigger labels now.

They may have started an indie label, but who didn't?

@k4tzm4n: Ah, sorry Katz; totally didn't see that. Fair enough!

I cast my vote to Saga. Walking Dead is fantastic and all, but Brian K. Vaughan can do no wrong in my mind!

My brain is actually shocked more people haven't voted Luther Strode...

S'okay, I don't expect everyone to scan the comments before posting! And yes, it does fill my heart with sadness that Luther doesn't have more votes. Five Weapons, too.
