What CB Superhero would translate best into an Anime? I honestly think Wonder WOman. Anime doesn't hold back like Western Animation and it would do her justice. We'd get all the incest/cheating, arcs and bloody action that a WW story would have.
Comic Book Hero in Anime
Fundamentally there's nothing different between anime and western animation. They're both adapting stories from the paper source material.
The difference is manga/comics. Comics just go on forever with new stuff all the time. Most manga have a start and an end.
Same with cartoons/anime. We'll keep getting Batman cartoons forever...we really only get 1 anime (even if its long series) that starts and ends. IT may be redone some day but its fundamentally the same story.
So really an anime of comics would just be taking a certain person's run and doing that start to finish. In that scenario any good run could be a good anime (as long as its animated, scored, etc right)
There's nothing really that would fail to translate (save literal language problem that can't be translated, hence why dubs suck).
Anime does tend to have a wider range of ratings though, so if you'd be able to see some PG-13 or even R rated stuff potentially.

There are different types of comedy and the comedy you get depends on the type of anime you watch.
Not all anime is like shonen.
also a lot of exaggerated emotion batman has no shown emotion very comic characters and teams can make the standards are some that can
red hood and the outlaws roys comedy and you can add in some exaggerated expressions and it wont seem out of place
teen titans been there
young justice only an idiot would think not
spider man being done (is it just me or does ultimate spiderman have a sh*t load of similarity's to teen titans)
x-men could've been done better if they didn't focus so much on the adults
yeah that's about it
also multiple characters unless its something like death note, death note is just is just....I really don't know were to put that anime but it does meet one standard exaggerated exspressions
There are plenty of characters whom I think an anime-style show could actually work well, I think that an Iron Fist anime would be pretty cool to watch.
@wolverine08: that's racist!
None.
Wolverine had an awesome manga that could be turned into anime.

Just because it failed, doesn't mean it can't work.
Do it well and it will work. Just like anything.
