What's the worst comic writing you've ever read? From any company, Image, Top Cow, DC, Marvel, Darkhorse, anybody!

Really? I thought Claremont was pretty good."
A lot of people think that way. But I have yet to read a CC story that I like. what do you recommend?

Out of the mainstream heavyhitters I think Chris Claremont has gone down hill since the mid 90's. He starts too many plot lines and doesn't conclude them. He also does a poor job on established characters which almost polar opposite to his early X stuff. So yeah these days he sux.
If you get the chance, read those really old (pre 60's) DC superhero comics. This stuff is written for 8 year olds. Horrible villains, dialogue and plot lines; and these comics are supposedly worth hundreds of dollars. You don't really know terrible until you read these.

Well I'm sure you've probably read anything I can think of. But did you read the Phoenix saga? It wasn't Watchmen or Kingdom Come, but it was pretty good. But like Slingshot was saying, he has gone downhill and if youre talking about him now, then I see your point.
