Colossus deserves more

Does anyone think too many characters from xmen are buried to hell for less intresting characters? ( Movies) Colossus easily one of the most awesone xmen gets like 3 lines out of the whole series. Iceman gets a tad coverage ( Which is a joke in my opinion ) Does anyone else think that xmen would be so much better if they focused more on characters such as colossus, iceman, Angel and loads more!

I don't know if Colossus was buried for less interesting characters as the mutants the XCU focused were Wolverine, Jean Grey, Xavier, Magneto, Mystique, Rogue and Wolverine. But I thought that their arcs throughout the XCU was engaging enough to justify the focus.

I can understand fans frustration with the fact that many notable X-Men characters served as ambiance, even major figures like Cyclops or Storm didn't have a whole lot to their characterizations.

Hopefully with X-Men: Apocalypse and Deadpool will develop more of these characters.

But theres so much promise in the xmen movies and they have such a diverse mixture of characters, enough for a universe and colossus has always been one of my faves but i did rage about cyclops he deserves way better. It just seems a waste having all those characters but only focusing on a few. Wolverine has got quite boring in my opinion msybe its the over coverage but still they can do a lot mire with othee characters

Colossus has as significant role in the Deadpool movie. They're teaming up.

Well I agree that he is awesome but you have to look at it from a movie making standpoint. Sure people that follow comics think he's awesome but the fact is most movie goers don't follow comics. Now look at it from their standpoint, to them colossus is a Soviet Union stereotype with the most general power of all time (super strength and Durability). Sure he turns into metal but if I didn't care much for comics I probably don't find that more interesting than a girl that can steal powers or a don't give a f@$& feral assassin that can't be killed.

He gets a different actor though.

@thevivas: That's probably for the best. It's definitely in Fox's best interest to establish a 'hulk' in their universe. Colossus and Thing could easily fill that role.

Ain't exactly a bad thing though. Cudmore was a big fella, but he was a horrid actor.

Colossus is easily my favorite mutant of all time. I absolutely think he deserves more cred. Excited to see how he is portrayed in the new Deadpool movie, hope they don't screw it up for Piotr......

The filming has stayed pretty faithful to the script leak a couple years back. He was pretty awesome in the script.

Its mainly the film writers who make the films a Wolverine fest as Colossus could've done alot more since hes a walking tank but i know hes good in the Deadpool film as i read the script when it first leaked.
