Spider-man's role is hard to crack for me. I know that the other Avengers will be aiding Cap with his hunt for Bucky's mission, alongside dealing with Hydra. Black Panther's role is to find out how Vibranium has gone all over the place. Spider-man though, I really don't know.

@darkdetective27: Maybe, but I think it's in the best interest of the movie. Giving spidey a large role when so many other characters are already confirmed seems like a bad idea.

I doubt he'll play a very big role, most likely he'll be in the post credits or at best he'll get maybe a minute of screen time, tho there is a good possibility he won't even be in it.

Not as big as it should be. The idea of the movie is kind of "eh" to me. I think it will be very forced.

I'm not ruling out the possibility of it being a cameo as much as I hope it isn't

Kevin Feige said that Spiderman will have a role that puts him alongside these other Avengers. That's definitely more than a cameo.

Honestly, they shoulda waited a few years, preferably 2 or 3, to make Civil War. That way we get an adult Peter, or at least a college kid, and have him make a actual contribution to the film, cause it ain't looking too hot right now. And honestly, Civil War would be an infinitely way better Spiderman film; a hero who's caught between the two causes. But instead we get a one sided story of Cap.

plot allowed ultron to even survive round 1 against the avengers. a 8 second scene of hitting thor is a sad excuse of providing a threat. that machine as i said was pure plot. they even said they knew where ultron was hiding. at no point were on the losing side. Ultron loses his secret weapon to street levelers. he is forced out of his "church" and its up to him to make the desperate last attack on the avengers. he was reduced to having to drive a jet to do any real damage.

so this confirms that a jet driver >>>> ultron as a threat to the avengers.

last fight scene, the avengers soloe'ed his entire army in his seconds without casualties and ultron himself lost within 3 seconds and was then made into a joke by being fodderized by hulk

@wrglfan2814: you said you don't think they would announce spider if it was a post credit scene. AOU was my failed attempt at trying to say marvel doesn't always deliver what they say. One minute spidey could be in in it and be shown off as he is the poster boy......and then after 5 mins of screen time we never see him for the rest of it. Kinda like Arkham origins and deathstroke

The movie is still quite a while from being released and just because he's listed doesn't mean his part won't get edited out and saved for later or just cut all together. I doubt he's gonna be a big deal tho even if he stays in because they've been pretty clear that its mainly going to be a Cap and Iron Man movie.

a five second scene of him beating thor is a poor excuse of a valid threat. thats something he shouldve done tge whole movie to em all

but nope, 5 seconds is all we get of him actually winning a fight. he put no beat down on ironmnan. it was actually the opposite.

the fact that he couldnt even last more than 5 seconds in the final fight is pathetic.

I remember someone saying that they were gonna keep it relatively small.

as soo nas the avengers became accustomed with the deal, they quickly and easily turned the tides and made so ultron was the one making desperate attempts to win, but nope, avengers dispatched of his army within 10 seconds and ultron was outta of it within 5 seconds. he bullrushed vision, punched him towards a wall, and then vision smacked him back, shot his laser that has feats below hawkeyes arrows, bowed down to the team, and then was fodderized by hulk

ultron was used as comic relief

the avengers formulated a plan to stop said meteorite before it even fell

so no, ultron was never a threat

he himself was weak as hell, his army was a joke, he himself wasnt menacing, scary or intimidating, and his plan was foiled before it went into full motion

What does that even mean? Thor proved he couldn't beat ultron, simple as that.

Thor's lighting was the only strong attack launched at ultron... vision's beam has worse feats than hawkeye's arrows, and ironmans beams are at best car busters. so ultron = leviathan durability, and we all saw how thor f'ed up like 2

Ok. The avengers won I get it. Its not like they beat him easily or anyone on the team soloed him. So why do you consider him as a non threat?

they won with ease. had it not been for sw or qs, ultron wouldnt have made it past round 1. he wouldve never gotten the vibranium, never built that machine, never even give the avengers a challenge... wait, scratch that last one.

Last words were "this is exactly what i wanted, all of you vs all of me. how can possibly hope to stop me" these are big words for someone who had their entire army fodderized. And then ultron proceeded to get stomped within 5 seconds himself.

Its gonna be small i think the Russos arent trying to make this movie age of ultron and are actually trying to make it make sense. Everyone has significant roles so far and i doubt they want to throw spidey in there that much

You are stating your opinion, and that´s okay, but it´s not a fact nor a lie, it´s only an opinion, and many people think differently, and saw Ultron as a real threat.

ultron was fodderized, and there is a similiarity in him being punched away and team rocket blasting off

Ultron was not fodderized, he was completely fine after Hulk punched him, just as he was perfectly fine after Vision punched him with Mjolnir, and in both hits he got pushed back the same distance.
