Chris Pine reported to play Steve Trevor

So, it has been rumored for quite some time that Chris Pine was in talks to play Steve Trevor opposite Gal Gadot in Wonder Woman. However, people have also speculated that he'd play Hal Jordan in a Green Lantern Corps reboot. However, it appears that Pine will indeed be playing Steve Trevor...probably.

He's A list, so I'm assuming Steve will be playing a bigger part than "Wonder Woman's BF". Probably head of ARGUS or something like in the New 52.

Dammit I was hoping to tell everyone he had been cast.

I think it is a good casting choice and I like that it said that he has sequal options. I hope that kills that period piece idea.

He could also be playing a god. Personally I want Mads Mikkelsen to play Ares though.

I think he has the Star Trek Franchise that's why he didn't take GL role plus because of the last GL movie he wants to play safe and take on a new character rather revive a character which was kinda ruined...

Althought an actor like him he should be leading his own franchise I think he would have made a great Hal...well lets see

@leatherface003: That probably is the case and why it took so long for him to be cast. He probably couldnt decide if he wanted to lead a franchise or play it safe.

If the rumor is true that Guy Ritchie will be directing GLC.. I will have a safe bet that Armie Hammer will be Jordan.
