Folks I hear people (mostly fanboys/fangirls) preach about character development as an importance to the to the character/story, and that goes double for comics.

So here's my question,

Who do you think is the most developed character in comics?

It takes fanboys to want character development? Is that what the OP is saying? I'm legitimately confused but if I'm correct, I'm incredibly disappointed.

I have no idea as far as an answer to the question but a safe bet IMO is Nightwing.

Superhero? IDK. If we count villains, then in DC it would be Sinestro. The only one close to him would Lex (could arguably be first). For Marvel, Dr. Doom, second Galactus (yeah yeah, not a real villain) or Thanos.

IMO, villains are WAY more interesting and developed than heroes.

However, the best developed characters are easily in comics not in Marvel and DC. So, many of them aren't actually even superheroes.

Tell me who is it? I'm dying to find out.
