Challenge a Viner: Gen-Discussion Edition

The first debate was a success! Keep 'em coming ya nerds.

I had this idea today and I'm kind of just testing the waters right now... I'm guessing most of you are familiar with the CaV system from the battle thread. Two viners call each other out and pick characters to represent. Then they create a thread and formulate arguments for why their character would win in the fight. The arguments go back and forth for a while, then they stop, and other viners come in and vote to decide who won the argument. So I'd like to adopt this system for more general topics. Allow me to explain..

How it would work:

- Viners will come to this page and request a battle (or you can call out a specific character)

- Once two Viners have decided to battle, they pick what they'd like to debate on.

- For this thread, instead of picking 2 characters to debate on in a fight, you can debate on any topic you want (comics related)

EX:

• Two viners could debate on whether or not The Amazing Spider-Man was a good film or not.
• Two viners could debate on who the funnier character is between Green Arrow and Hawkeye.
• Hell, you could even debate on whether Marvel or DC is the better company

- The Viners will formulate arguments and get into a back and forth until they've made all the points they wish to make.

- Other Viners will then vote to determine which Viner won the argument.

I understand these topics are more subjunctive than a simple 'who would win in a fight' but we get tons of debates over on this forum, and a lot of them could be formulated better.

Anyway, I think this is something that could be fun. If you're interested, just go ahead and comment your debate below. Like I said, this is kind of a beta-format for this idea.

I mean, as long as it doesn't get as subjective as "Was ___ a good movie", I can see this taking off. Ideas like "Which character is funnier" are good because they're entertaining and less subjective. A lot of potential here.
