On Topic: Well it sounds like a good venture, however they don't sell comic books in Jamaica or have comic stores here in Kingston. All the stuff is on the internet. I do encourage others to show you're not ashamed that your hobby is reading...
Celebrate International 'Read Comics In Public Day'!
Yeah.
I may even go again tomorrow to see if he's there. Oh, and most of the people I read in front of were old people (50-70) Does that count?
I read comic books during Study Hall at school, and while i'm in the car. I do need to try it at the park on of these days :]
<<< Pushes "Like" button......If I read this earlier, I would have went somewhere today :/
I don't have a problem reading them anywhere....but I don't notice anyone looking at me any funnier than normal.
people usually comment "YOU read comic books?" then say "cool" when I tell them -holding comic up- "obviously"
I wasn't even aware it was read comics in public day but I guess I did my part anyway, courtesy of my Marvel 1602 trade.
" I read comics in public all the time. I read them so much in high school that people were constantly borrowing my trades from me.... I'm still missing my "Maximum Carnage" and my "Deadpool VS The Marvel Universe" because of that =/ "Yea, lol. People kept borrowing my comics too.
I love reading comics in Public I did it last Friday. If you don't like me cause I read Comics in public than I don't like you because you don't read comics. There is nothing nicer than buying a new comic walking to a nice quiet park on a nice sunny day sitting on a park bench and reading it while the sun shines down on you. why wouldn't you do that in the summer.
Always been proud of reading comics in public. Remember doing this often on the 134 bus home from Forbidden Planet (London, UK). Only time been embarrassed - Reading Black Kiss on the bus not knowing what it was about. Quickly found out. Bus was bloody packed too.
Good comic though.
