Poll CBS' Supergirl vs Netflix's AKA Jessica Jones (105 votes)
CBS' Supergirl show starring Melissa Benoist as the lead has a synopsis goes a little something like this:
Kara Zor-El after she escapes her home of Krypton as it explodes and has a new life on Earth. She will be taken in by the Danver family who teach her to be very careful with her new powers.
Now in her mid-20s, Kara has spent much of her time repressing those abilities but she still doesn't know herself. A disaster forces her to use her powers in public and she feels good about it and for the first time since coming to Earth, she embraces her super-powers.
Meanwhile, Marvel and Netfilx has teamed up to make a bunch of shows following some of the more street level characters, the first being called "Aka, Jessica Jones" starring Krysten as the lead.
A brief synopsis:
Following a tragic end to her brief superhero career, Jessica Jones tries to rebuild her life as a private eye, dealing with cases involving people with remarkable abilities in New York City.
Both shows haven't had set premiere dates yet, but we can assume they'll have a 2015 release.
