Finally, there's a little bit of villain info for the upcoming CBS show Supergirl. According to TheWrap, The Last Five Years star Jeremy Jordan has been cast to guest star in the pilot for Supergirl as Winslow "Winn" Schott. He plays a tech genius who works at CatCo with Kara. There's also potential for this to be a reoccurring character as well, which would be a cool thing since that would mean fans would get to see Toyman.

Jordan will be joining Melissa Benoist (Supergirl), Mehcad Brooks (Jimmy Olsen), and Calista Flockhart (Cat Grant) on the series. The synopsis for the show is as follows: Now in her mid-20s, Kara has spent much of her time repressing those abilities but she still doesn't know herself. A disaster forces her to use her powers in public and she feels good about it and for the first time since coming to Earth, she embraces her super-powers.

This feels like a CW show, casting nothing but good looking people as characters who aren't particularly attractive.

@the_stegman: That's pretty much any TV show or movie nowadays. Not just the CW.

I love Supergirl, but I still can't shake of the feeling that this show is basically a female "Smallville".

I'd rather have her crash land on Earth when she's 17/18 in the first episode, and have her deal with living on a new planet with superpowers she didn't have previously.

Pretty much every network casts nothing but good looking people, CW's thing is shirtless good looking people.

CBS is already trying way to hard, first they are bring in Dean Cain and Helen Slater. This show will most likely not be renewed for a second season. I doubt it will leave the pilot stages of a major network like CBS.

@cmd735: I'm still disappointed we got no shirtless ads of the Flash characters like they gave us with Arrow in the comics. :P

I don't really see Toyman at all with him. Toyman is one of those characters that shouldn't be good looking. More of just weird and animated. Kinda creepy.

Nothing really good happens on TV anyways.
