Tell me what you guys think:
CBS Picks up Supergirl!
CBS? Home of Big Bang Theory, the most offensive nerd stereotype since Comic Book Guy? (Hell, even CBM has his redeeming moments)
Oh well, no price is to high to see Kara get her own show. <3
@deathpoolthet1000: I like it better that its separate. It gives more freedom to the writers.
CBS?? Unexpected, but I'll take it.
My thoughts exactly.
The question, how is Dc not noticing they should try to do a Multimedia Multiverse?
They probably notice they just don't want to rule out anything before they fully invest either way. Also, if they take it would be really confusing to non-comic book fans.
@dngn4774: Agreed!
Meh. I'm still waiting on my Blue Beetle/Booster Gold Tv show.
omg pls
@haydenclaireheroes: Do you cover anything on doctor who or have plans to cover the upcoming Star Wars: Rebels series?
Meh. I'm still waiting on my Blue Beetle/Booster Gold Tv show.
omg pls
Who would you cast for both roles?
I think it's absolutely fantastic news, glad that Supergirl is getting more spotlight both in media and the comics. Looking forward to the show, and I can't wait for her to get a new writer this November.

Who would you cast for both roles?
That, my friend, is quite a list. I can see a few people that could pull it off.
I like Jason Segel's look, I think, for Kord. But his character would be really off.
I'd want someone average looking for Ted, that's a must.
Booster has to be ridiculously good looking.

Hmm.... Booster would be a fun as hell casting room...
In a film I could see Ryan Gosling playing him... or someone along those lines. Segel could actually play Booster too... Sean William Scott could be fun... I could think of tons more if I felt like it.
For Ted....
Breckin Meyer... For TV that guy from Psych would be cool too.

From Lie to Me, for Ted would actually be reaaaaalllly great, Brendan Hines.
An Action comedy TV show like so would be great, but idk, with DC trying so darn garsh hard to make everything dark.
@dngn4774: I don't watch Doctor Who, but yes to Star Wars Rebels. I will review at least the first episode. Not a big Star Wars fan, but I always support Greg Weisman!
@nickthedevil: They do like the dark... but I think Flash isn't going to be tooooo dark. Supergirl... How could you make that dark. Arrow, Gotham, and Constantine are obviously pretty gritty, but if they made a BB/BG show, and it wasn't funny? I'd punch... someone who works at WB.

I'll give yo uthat about Flash. It has a feel to it that was better than most Super Hero genre TV.
I need this greenlit, ASAP.
@nickthedevil: Seriously... I miss these guys... I mean I hear they're joining Justice League 3000, but that's just another book I'd have to catch up on and start buying... Just give me a TV show or a movie... naow.

I've been collecting JL3K already.
I like the series already, this just boosted my love for it.
@nickthedevil: Is it worth checking out? I don't even know what it's like.

Something that happens in another universe means nothing to another universe.
Also X Men has two universe thanks to the timelines.

People said the same about Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool, Days of a Future Past and Marvel Cinematic universe.
Stop underrating mainstream audience.
Also there is a movie Flash and a TV Flash, i dont think people will confuse both of them as the same Flash.
@nickthedevil: Is it worth checking out? I don't even know what it's like.
I like it. It's a good very new take on the original heroes, without reading the overly exposed origins of each that we all know by heart.
Superman is a cocky bastard, WW is a complete beast, she feels like Gamora/Wolverine composite. Flash is a coward. Firestorm don't give a fuuuu--. Batman still feels like Batman (Obviously), and GL... He's the only character I don't like. But he's set up like the leader.
And I loved Howard Porter's art in Flash and JLA, he does exceptional work here.

Hm I think I'll check it out then! I'll read the first few issues online.
@nickthedevil: I shall Ted. I shall.
@deathpoolthet1000: Yes, they would get confused. It's the same reason we get a wave of new fans every five years asking if they are going to do any major crossovers (like GotG with Avengers; or Spiderman with X-men; etc). Casual viewers don't pay attention to studios because they have no idea how important they can be on determining continuity. When fans yell at newbies online over stuff like this we end up shooting ourselves in the foot because that expanded audience brings the revenue to fund future live action ideas. That's the risk in having a multi-network multiverse.
@saint_sophie: Same here, I feel like Supergirl is long past dew for a push and some time in the spotlight.

That's what I'm thinking too. But then you realize that she's Supes cousin and that Supes may somehow be involved in her universe.. but TT had little to nothing to do with the JL so it's worth a shot.
@saint_sophie: I think it will work, I doubt Superman will be directly involved in the show, and Supergirl is more then capable of standing on her own.
@haydenclaireheroes: Just checked the Supergilrl fan blog, and the woman who runs it is over the moon, which makes me smile. We are living in a Golden Age, and even though I'm not happy about what's happening with my own favorite character, I'm glad that fans everywhere of even the most obscure characters can smile knowing characters they love are finally getting a chance to shine :)
