I'm working on my X-Men fancast right now... I'm working on the idea that if X-Men were made into an HBO (or whatever pay cable channel) tv show, who I'd like to see in these roles (I'm gonna write more about my idea in a blog later lol). I don't really like Sean Patrick Flannery as Banshee though because I'd like to stay true to Banshee being Irish, and Sean's Irish accent is just awful. That and I don't think he really looks the part... though he is closer to the age Banshee ought to be in my particular fancast than Simon Woods. Simon is only 32, but I'm confident he could do the accent and play the part well, I just wish he were older. I'm thinking about specifying him as "young" Banshee for flashbacks, because even at 32 he looks like 20 or so lol No way could he pull off being Rachel Hurd-Wood's dad. But damn does he looks the part:

And Lou Diamond Phillips... I love me some LDP, but I just could NOT take him seriously as Forge lmao. Maybe if it were a campy X-Men, but otherwise no way XD
i like Gemma arterton for Rogue... she's really beautiful. and Lena Headley for Domino is interesting... i can really see it now you mentioned it. Why is Moon Knight mixed in with a bunch of x-men though? :S
tbh though i really liked some of the cast from the real X-men films. Ellen Page as Kitty pryde for example.
@redleigh86: Good point. Banshee is one of my favorite X-Men, and I would definitely want someone Irish playing him. I said SPF because I'm a Boondock Saints fan.
LDP was my pick for Forge mostly because I loved hearing him as Forge's voice in X-Men Legends =^-^=
I can tell that you put a great deal of effort into your cast, and a lot of them were perfect.
Years later, proof other sites copy off comicvine, google or bing search Sean Penn Dr. Strange.... there are images for it now and everything LOL, just something I randomly thought up now has snowballed into a ton of people wanting Penn as Dr. Strange... wow, I missed my calling in casting movies.
