Holly balls Falcon needs to adopt that costume in the comics right now. :O

Ultimate Falcon doesn't look cool to me. He looks like Wesly Snipes with wings lol.

@thexx: I like the Mask, but I'd like him more without it. Of course it's going to come off. I'm not digging the hair though, lol. It's just too messy for me. But the suit, costume and bionic arm look spot on.

I can tell this movie is going to play heavily on a band of mercenaries. It could either be a group of other smaller groups working together or 3 groups working against each other to do the same thing. Crossbones, Bucky's and GSP.

I'm going to say it's the first one. When Bucky joins Steve again, they're going to take down Crossbones and Batroc together, something will happen and they will be separated again.

I'm getting more and more excited for it. The Russo brothers are very good at directing. I have faith in them.

Marvel continues to dominate live action movies, DC better call up Nolan and see what their next plan is.

I was worried about falcon, I'll admit. But if they can make him work on the big screen, they can make Batroc work.

Did anyone else see that he had his old costume on in the third image? probably a flashback scene...

Anyway, this all looks awesome! i'm really looking forward to this.

All those images look great. I love how Falcon looks and i'm curious how they'll work him into the story. And i love Winter Soldier though i'm not a 100% sure about the look of the mask just yet. Probably looks great on film though ^_^

Haha I knew someone was going to say that. Its just the atmosphere of the last picture is more similar to Under the Red Hood than Winter Soldier for me.

I guess I'm the only one who hates the Bucky mask. Conjures bad memories of Harry Osborn from Spider-Man 3. I would've much preferred a domino mask, that would stand in contrast to Cap's own helmet.

Falcon looks great though, I'm glad they went with the Ult. incarnation. The scientist/soldier aspect was always interesting. I do hope he adopts a more superheroic look some time in the future though, it'd be cool to see the red/blue dynamic with him and Cap.

I really don't like it either. I understand that domino masks look somewhat cheesy in live action, but I think goggles could do just as good a job. Or they could just go maskless.

@veshark: well the whole stupid point they are trying to drive home is that the audience isn't supposed to know that it's the actor from the last movie, even though anyone could google Winter Soldier and find out in two seconds, and a domino mask doesn't actually conceal anyone's identity, despite what over 80 years of comic books/strips radio show and pulp magazine characters will tell you.

also sidenote: WHY DO SO MANY PEOPLE HATE FALCON ON THIS SITE, geez he's not that bad, or really bad at all, it's insane to me.

@the_tree Indeed. But I guess I'm trying to be open-minded for now. These are all just preliminary concept art sketches, so for all we know, it might not be the finished product. Hopefully if Bucky really has to wear that getup, he doesn't do it for the full movie.

@laserlambert Yeah, that makes sense, even if it's a little silly. I think that a domino mask and shadows would do the better job really, but there's sort of no point.

Also, I don't get the Falcon hate either. I haven't read much of him, but he was always cool whenever he showed up. Most people call him useless here?

The pictures aren't that awesome but I still have high expectations for this movie.

@risingbean: The whole problem I have with the pictures is because Falcon will be in the movie and I can't stand him and also in the first picture of Bucky he is wearing a stupid ski mask.

Let them use the medium to wow you. Movies often make much more sense then comic versions and it's likely he'll just be a supporting character. For all we know he may just be a cameo like Hawkeye in Thor. I was never a big Loki fan until the movies. Now I think the world of that guy. As for the ski mask, it's really to fool all the people who see movies but do not read comics. Not everybody knows who the Winter Soldier really is. I bet you a shiny nickel as soon as his I.D. is revealed he will drop the mask entirely.

Truth be told, the images that really get a rise out of me are Cap playing chicken with the quinjet and his showdown with the Winter Soldier.
