Captain America's shield vs Infinity Gauntlet

If captain america was ready and had his shield out, and thanos with the infinity gauntlet at full power punched the shield, would the shield break? Would Capt. feel the impact/die?

Thanos is using the power gem at 100%, punching will all of his strength. He isnt using the reality gem to screw with the shield at all.

Did he do it with strength or did he use the reality warping though??? And I doubt Cap would die, isn't it made of vibranium which negates all impact vibrations? Otherwise Hulk punching it would break cap's arms.

[Edit] Oh and Cap's shield has gotten stronger since then, in fear itself they added Uru to it.
