@anbu_b_team: I wouldn't think so since the serum is designed to max him out. He is already at the height of his potential. He can't get better unless he stopped being human

@greatcaesarsghost: im not talking about high end feats. im talking about abilities one has that clearly puts them in a different class.

High end feats arent important. ALL comic character do something every once in a while they shouldnt do. but thats not what were talking about.

Except a lot of peak humans consistently do things that normal humans can't do.

@guardiandevil83: According to Tom Brevoort he's not.

But according to Brubaker he's the absolute peak of human potential. Which may as well count for superhuman stats.

And that was pointed out to him and he said something to the effect of "I speak for Marvel, other writers opinions only speak for themselves"

Breevort is an arrogant dick. He speaks for marvel? Sorry but no....Not saying his opinion means nothing but it isn't worth much more than Brubakers if it is at all....

What are Tom Brevoort writing feats for Captain America? He pretty much doesn't have any.

What are Ed Brubaker? He won the eisener award writing Cap, did the impossible and brought Bucky back and had a movie loosely made off of his storyline.

The fact that Steve can drink alcohol and not get drunk plus having suppressed aging already makes him superhuman.

Didn't he also cut a hole in his stomach recently as well? I agree based on feats Steve is clearly not peak human...At least not in the modern age.

@jashro44: yeah, cut a giant hole of his chest out and then fought Zola army, him and Zola fell off of a 1000 foot launch pad and he remained conscious.

That's definitely more than a peak human feat IMO. Wish Breevoort had seen that.

But of course a peak human can totally recover from that right?

well he ain't so super now lol

honestly Cap is one of those characters that are never really consistent in feats and change widely depending on who's writing him.

Cap gets overhyped at times by writers.

According to some of Batman's religious followers,he's only a peak human in the same sense as Batman....except when he's not.

Not really. His feats (such as in strength, speed, durability, etc) are pretty consistent. On average, they are definitely more than peak human (in the enhanced range),and the high end ones are more impressive.

You know who's also Batman's physical equal? Deathstroke :)

And so is Wolverine. And Black Panther.

I do think Cap's feats qualify him as 'super human'.
