Can superman stop Godzilla ?

Is the "Man of steel" powerful enough to take on the "King of monsters".......

Would it be possible for superman (both comic and man of steel movie version)..to stop and defeat Godzilla.....

*the strongest version of godzilla.....2014 can also be taken...

From what I understand, Godzilla ranges from a simple giant lizard to a beast capable of soaking black holes and spewing blasts more powerful than the Sun. So, I dunno.

I think Supes could do it with relative ease. He could knock him out or kill him.

Pretty much this. KO's are debatable, and neither can kill the other in my opinion.

Superman is MORE than strong enough to BFR him into space however.

Then Godzilla becomes another planet's problem.

Most comic book versions of Superman could deal with him.

Man of steel Superman would die to most versions of Godzilla.

I would say Supes could take Zilla. Fly down his throat and mess him up from the inside.

It's a good fight but I think Supes could pull it off, he could definitely BFR him into space though (can Godzilla breath in space?) or throw him into the sun or something. A good ol' beatdown would be harder but it wouldn't be the first time Superman fought a giant monster.

Does anyone happen to know what the most powerful version of Godzilla is and what it is capable of?
