It's fxcking terrible.
Can someone explain to me how Catwoman still has an ongoing?
(cough) Bat related title(cough)
Only tangentially.
They don't decide to cancel something on the grounds of how bad it is. If somethings making them enough money they'll keep it going. Which I can't fault them for, their a business, after all.
Agh please Catwoman is part of the Bat-Books, and any Batman related book it's never cancelled. Batwing sales are allways between 15,000 an 12,000. Justice League International had the same record in sales and it got cancelled in issue #12 but of course this part of the Bat-Family and cannot be cancelled.
@marcosvergara14: Detective Comics was cancelled
@thecheesestabber: It was Batman: The Dark Knight the one it was cancelled beacuse the creator are moving to surprise another weekly bat-tittle Batman Eternal
@marcosvergara14: Oh I thought it was Detecive, my mistake
It's Catwoman. She has a very established fan base. She is very iconic, second only to Wonder Woman probably. And DC is very good at giving female characters their own book.

Really? I would think her fanbase is just the bat fanbase in general.
@ximpossibrux: why would you think that? Are you new to comics? Catwoman stepped out of Batman's shadow decades ago. Bad as it was, she even has her own feature film !
Let me ask again in a different way. How is Catwoman still selling when she is dead? I'm behind by a good margin and curious. Feel free to give me spoilers. Though you may want to use a spoiler block so others don't complain.
Boobs...

Man, that movie didn't even have Selina in it.
And I STILL want my money back.
@risingbean: she's not dead. It was the martian manhunter that took the bullet. Everyone should know this by now.
@saren: isn't one being replaced with ANOTHER Bat title?
The menthol line is hilarious by the way

Except shes regarded as "just another Batman title." Even though she is independent now with her own series, she's still in his shadow.
@dr_harlequin: Villains Month and the current arc
@lifeboy: Hm. News to me. But I'm behind. Thanks for the info.

She does have an established fan base. Go on tumblr etc she's got fans. I'm one myself but I reading Ed Brubaker's Catwoman not the new 52 thou.
@dr_harlequin: pickup the Jokers Daughter (Duela) villains issue (im guessing Dark Knight 23.4). Its in second printing so you can get it coverprice. You sound like a person with good taste. You can see for yourself if you like the writers abilities in that one shot. And if you do like the comic, you can follow Duela into the pages of the current Catwoman. From the same writer and and an awesome artist (rafa sandoval).
Boobs...
lol maybe
DC not canceling a title that is making money shouldn't shock anyone. Why Catwoman sells more than Green Arrow is the real question you need to ask.

Your answer @fallschirmjager ^^^^^^^^^^^
(cough) Bat related title(cough)
Lol
@marcosvergara14: TALON.
Boobs always sell. It's the reason most female characters succeed, unless they are written well. Power girl is a perfect example of this.
@lifeboy: Superboy isn't that bad(when Lobdell isn't writing).
@jeanralphio: that comment has nothing to do with me but I agree with you. I can't wait to see what mr wolfman does with the character :)
@voodoopenguin: Replaced with DC Future´s End. Wich features Terry McGuinness aka Batman Beyond

I thought you meant superbrat as derogatory.
