Can haki be stopped?

My brother told me 8 gates Gai can't touch The 3 Admirals because Gai doesn't have haki. Is this true? If it is, who would win, Goku or The 3 Admirals?

You can hurt someone with Haki, it just have to be a strong attack. It's not like it makes you invincible. Haki can't defend against planetary attacks for example (at least not yet). I would think Gai can hit an admiral and cause damage, but I'm not an expert with Gai, so idk his output

Power isnt what harms a logia. Haki is needed. However stronger Haki can block weaker Haki.

Gai can't harm them. As in cause painting them and the more fluid admirals would just slip through like when suigetsu fought eight tails as a giant water blob thing.

Now if an op makes a thread stating otherwise it's different.

Stalemate . Goku can't harm the Admirals and the Admirals can't harm Goku .

The people in dbz use lo and energy that could be closely related to haki. If goku was in the one piece verse I believe he would defeat the admirals after a tough battle

Goku would probably learn how to use haki just by seeing admirals using it.
