Can Aquaman block attacks with his trident?

Could Aquaman block a thunderclap from Hulk, Colossus, or Juggernaut; a God Blast from Thor; an energy attack from Thanos; the Omega Effect from Darkseid; etc.?

Uncles written by Loeb, the Omega Beams shouldn't be able to be blocked.

That said it would depend on the size and power of the attack. He has already done it before to Morgan Le Fey.

The N52 aquaman trident hasn't been shown to be that powerful. He only block attacks like swords, and other powerful tridents. Everything you mention he cannot block.

I wouldn't expect him to be able to block anything beyond a generic laser.

He's blocked a powerful magical blast from Morgan Lafey.
