Calling all Comic Masters.. Ka-BOOM! - Gen. Discussion

Hey guys,

This may be a strange request, but I am trying to track down a certain comic. All I have is a partial screen capture from the opening credits of a movie. All I know is it's Marvel and I'm pretty sure it's Spider-Man or X-men. Does it look familiar to anyone, can anyone help me?

It looks like mid-1990's X-Men, but there aint nothing to go on. Good luck.

If you look really close, right above the m on ka-boom, theres a brown boot with a yellow cuff and light blue pant leg, kinda like the old X uniforms. Can you see it?

to be perfectly honest it looks like one of the opening panels from Mallrats or Chasing Amy...

dunno, maybe bluntman and chronic are about in the rest of the scene somewhere

yeah i spotted that, but the blue is exactly the same shade as the window... not to mention the way the 'boot' is positioned it looks like a bit of shrapnel or rock from the explosion and thats a peice of glass...

Thanks for the help so far guys. I was also thinking old school X-men, But this was taken from the opening of Spider-Man 2, you know where they flash "Marvel" on the screen? My good friend Ebony Bishop says that they use comics related to the movie to create those little montages... So, if that's true then it's from a Spider-Man comic. Does that boot look like it belongs to one of Spider-Man's villains maybe?

sorry... nothing in there i recognise at all...

if it is from the opening credits, check the end credits of the movie... maybe they listed all the issues there that they used...

Why do they do that montage? They did it with the Punisher and Fantastic 4, its so fast you can barley tell whats happening.
