Cable in xforce?

So if fox wants cable in the xforce movie, how are they going to explain him being cyclops's kid? Cyclops died in the abysmal xmen 3, so how does he have a kid?

Also do you guys think theyre trying to retcon xmen 3. I mean xavier is in days of future past and he also died in xmen 3.

Yes, I believe they're retconning some or most of X-Men 3:

During the beginning of X-Men 3, during the 80's, Xavier was still walking. Yet at the end of First Class in the 60's, he's crippled. Xavier is alive in DOFP and Magneto has his mutant powers.

Yet also, in The Wolverine movie, Jean is dead by Logan's hand, and that movie is directly connected to DOFP.

So long story short, it's all messed up.

Keep in mind, though, Alex is not Cyclops' brother, so they'll probably disconnect Cable as well.

Cable is a time traveler he can say whatever he wants. He can say he is from an alternate reality or he can say he is Cyclops son and then... when they ask, "but he's dead how can that be?"

He can say, "I cannot reveal the future. I have already said too much."

Actually, I just watched the X-Men: DOFP panel, and Bryan Singer said that all the time traveling will cause a Butterfly Effect which is how Xavier is back among the living. So who knows what else they've got going on. Maybe Alex is a time traveler and is hiding it.

I think X-Men 3 is being retconned out of continuity in Days of Future Past.

No, it's part of the continuity, but they're using time travel to alter things that happened, like Star Trek did.

Hence, retcon.

Star Trek used time travel to essentially retcon it. Same for Flashpoint.
