Brick from Arrow

So can someone please help me with info about him. I've watched the episodes with him but I can't figure out if he is a metahuman. He has been shot a couple times. Is he bulletproof? How did wildcat make him bleed? Does he have enhanced strength?

@cfrehse: they never explained were his enhanced durability came from but judging from his feats he should be a metahuman. I wish they would give us some insight on him too

I always assumed he dummied the ammo in his gun so that they were blanks or something like that.

@koshi_waza88: just rewatched the episode and wildcat did have on brass knuckles. So it does somewhat make sense now. He can i guess be chipped away at so he bleeds from bullets and enough force. I just thought that his fight with diggle was strange because diggle was holding his own and brick beat the crap out of wildcat. Not talking down diggle just thought both fights would have similar results.
