Blue Beetle: what would you prefer?

A movie about Jaime Reyes or a tv serie about Booster Gold and Ted Kord?

Is it bad to want both?

@moul: id say TV show, ted kord and booster gold are actually quite interesting characters being underdogs of the JLA. A TV show about how they interact with each other and other people would be good. The movie for Reyes would be amazing

For some reason I think there might be a Ted Kord Blue Beetle movie because DC wouldnt let Arrow use that character for some reason. Then again they wouldnt let Man of Steel use Jack Ryder so who knows.

Ted Kord should be the only Blue Beetle.

@moul: I suppose but I think its kind of like how they didnt let Harley on the show. They had the character set up and had plans but then DC put the big no on it because of Suicide Squad. Also kind of like the Bat embargo that happened a while back.

I'd say make the show or movie about all 3, have it show 3 different time periods, with 3 different stories that all connect.

Despite loving Ted Kord more then Jaime Reyes (I still love both). I would rather see a Jaime Reyes movie as I fell like a Booster/Ted series would be pretty similar to the Flash, while a Jaime movie could be something pretty unique in superhero movie terms since it would be kind of like Spider-Man meeting Guardians of the Galaxy.

Not even going into the diversity thing, but there's already plenty of heroes like Ted.

@moul: not exactly. I think the fun part about the blue beetle is that they didn't really understand who eachother was, it also allows ted to die(which was emotional for me and I only read him in countdown) batman robin, green arrow arsenal, they have the luxury of interacting with their sidekick and being cool. Blue beetle I feel is someone who has been through a lot and can relate to today's people if portrayed right. And we can include his resurrection if they want him to interact with Jamie.
