Going to a local con this weekend. I was wondering if it is socially acceptable to have a local artist draw on say a Green Lantern blank cover?

Leaving it blank would keep it "mint" but a blank cover sucks.

Yep. I've yet to go to a comic con so I've never bought a blank one. Hopefully that'll change one day. Best of luck to you.

Thank you all. I assumed that is what they are for but a co-worker said he wouldn't do it unless it was the inker, penciler, etc...

I got a green lantern 13 done for my daughter at the Tucson comic con. It was a lot fun. Thanks again.
