2008 for me. Sure there was a lot of bullsh*t like Hancock and Wanted, but three of the best CBMs came out that year:
Hellboy 2 - While not particularly innovative, it was still a top-notch movie. Still waiting on that third one, Del Toro
Iron Man - Kick-started the entire MCU, and proved to Marvel and audiences that even a B-List character can be made recognizable if he has the right talent behind 'im
The Dark Knight - Redefined the superhero genre, proving that you can go beyond the genre's summer-action constraints and tell a genuinely provoking story.
2012. Amazing Spider-Man did suck (and I assume Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance did too), but we got Avengers, Dark Knight Rises, & Dredd that year. So it shouldn't even be close.

I agree with this point, although. I think the Dark Knight had more action in it than Iron Man did
This!! Except the FF reboot I don't really like the FF but to each there own, and I'll probably see it anyway just to make sure it makes enough money to keep Marvel making movies lol.
