Best way of knowing when next issues are out?

Hey all,

I am currently considering switching my reading habits to a mixture of digital singles and trade-waiting for physical copies. An upside of my singles pull list is that I don't have to know when the next issues come out, I get a shipping notice each week letting me know what's coming my way but if I switch to digital for the singles, is there an easy way to keep track of releases?

Ideal scenario is, of course, to get something similar to the shipping notice that lets me know the latest issue of a series I'm following is available...

Looking forward to your advice!

Cheers,

'Lint

I don't know for everyone else but I follow the publishing companies on Twitter, as well as writers and artists of the comics I read. They tend to tweet it as soon as new issues are on sale.

You could also set up rss feeds for the online sites where you usually buy your comics.

I'm wondering if there's an option that's even more efficient. Right now, for example, I get my entire pull list from one website, so I check 'shipping calendar' and it shows me the next couple of months release dates for all the comics I'm subscribed to. The nice thing is that it's all in once place, on one screen and it updates automatically.

I'm wondering if there's something like that but without purchase attached to it. If not, I guess I just have to invest the time to look up the release dates and add them to a calendar or reminder app or something, right?

Midtown Comics updates their website every Wednesday with what is coming out the next Wednesday. I use that to figure out what I'm pulling one week out.
