Most of our American heroes are either rich jerks who buy their super powers or perfect people that are born with them.
Captain America is a rare exception. I'll go with the Cap.

@silent_bomber: Thanks for mentioning all those Welsh heroes, but none of them are really well known and unlikely there is enough wrote about any of them to become likeable characters haha. Nice to see Marvel focusing on Welsh heroes.

Don't let Bumpy hear you insult SuperTed O_O

In regards to the characters
Dai Thomas has quite a reasonable amount of material, he was in and out of Captain Britain for quite a while and was one of the main characters in Knights of Pendragon, which is actually fairly well respected (the second volume was widely regarded as awful though).
Evans the Fist is kinda' cool but barely in anything, Red Dragon (Siadwell) was likeable but was roasted to death pretty quickly, lol.
The others aren't really that notable, though to be fair I only have limited experience with some of them.
@silent_bomber: Haha used to watch Super Ted as a kid, never realized he was in fact Welsh haha.

I actually found an old VHS tape in the attic a week or two ago, I considered putting it on but I'm thinking maybe that's a bad great idea
EDIT: Just noticed Bumpy is in thread

@crossbolt: nice to know :)
@parachomp: we've got booster gold too as of the new 52!
@crossbolt: he was but they changed it in the new 52. I think to justify why he was on justice league international.
Well, there actually a fell heroes who are from Brazil... but I remember that a couple of them speaks spanish instead of portuguese in some times...
Not sure if people call her superheroine...But I read somewhere she is based on Hindu Mythology so...

@citizensentry: It's a fine country, we just don't really have superheroes, we have the smurfs ans stuff aimed at kids. (sorry for the late reply my answer-thingy is broken.)
@darthmummy: we just don't really have superheroes, we have the smurfs ans stuff aimed at kids, not really my jazz (but there are some new things, new characters being created).
Most Australian characters I can think of are villains (Captain Boomerang, Mammoth, Shimmer, Pyro), I'm curious as to why that is?
The only hero I can think of from a mainstream publication is Tasmanian Devil.

Tank Girl
@black_wreath: Manifold is Australian.
@sundeep: Indonesia. There's Komodo from Marvel and Cascade from DC but neither of them are good. They're just typical superhumans.
Really? Obviously you'd know better than me but I was under the impression there are loads of Indonesian superheroes, seriously I just googled Indonesian superheroes and a bunch came up
These guys look pretty cool
@lensnart: Skylar Comics makes a load of them but they rarely have characters as deep as Captain America or Batman.
So I'm not into them since lots are cliché'd.
