Best superhero from your country?

Most of our American heroes are either rich jerks who buy their super powers or perfect people that are born with them.

Captain America is a rare exception. I'll go with the Cap.

@silent_bomber: Thanks for mentioning all those Welsh heroes, but none of them are really well known and unlikely there is enough wrote about any of them to become likeable characters haha. Nice to see Marvel focusing on Welsh heroes.

In regards to the characters

Dai Thomas has quite a reasonable amount of material, he was in and out of Captain Britain for quite a while and was one of the main characters in Knights of Pendragon, which is actually fairly well respected (the second volume was widely regarded as awful though).

Evans the Fist is kinda' cool but barely in anything, Red Dragon (Siadwell) was likeable but was roasted to death pretty quickly, lol.

The others aren't really that notable, though to be fair I only have limited experience with some of them.

I actually found an old VHS tape in the attic a week or two ago, I considered putting it on but I'm thinking maybe that's a bad great idea

As for me, I feel like the Triumph Division by Marvel deserves some titles for itself. It's never been given any attention and I feel like it has potential.

Most Australian characters I can think of are villains (Captain Boomerang, Mammoth, Shimmer, Pyro), I'm curious as to why that is?

The only hero I can think of from a mainstream publication is Tasmanian Devil.
