Best Star Wars EU Stories

Folks, I don't know much about the Expanded Universe, but I know it meant alot to people who are fans of these books/comics/video games that have taken place before/in-between/after the 6 Star Wars movies. I know this because I've read a couple of stories and played a couple of games. And honestly, I respect those who did the games and stories, because they're fans who grew up with SW themselves.

So here's my question...

What the best Star Wars Expanded Universe Stories in your opinion?

There are a lot of good stories, Dark Times, Knights of the Old Republic ect... But my favorite is Legacy.

The X-wing novels. If you only read one, make it Starfighters of Adumar.

New Jedi Order.

Basically any book written by Timothy Zahn is good I also love the Fate of The Jedi series.

Novels:

• Republic Commandos series
• NJO series
• Legacy of the Force (... well, some of it... kinda...)
• Darth Bane trilogy
• Thrawn trilogy

Comics:

• Star Wars / Republic series
• Dark Times
• Tales of the Jedi (the finale is one of my all time favorite EU moments)
• Dark Empire I, II, Empire's End
• Tales (some of those are really solid short stories)

Games:

• KOTOR series
• Dark Forces / Jedi Knight series
• Battlefront series (second one has a great plot)
• Republic Commandos
• Galactic Battlegrounds (Ages of Empire clone, yes, but it's a solid game with a rather good plot)
