You missed Kubrick, pictured between Spielberg & Lang. Also, while not pictured here, I feel Verhoeven (Robocop,Total Recall,Starship Troopers) & Wise (Star Trek, Day the Earth Stood Still, Andromeda Strain) deserve at least a mention.

Buffy the vampire crap discounts him imo. Same with Lucas making the last three Star Ward garbage. I say Ridley Scott for doing Bladerunner even though Prometheus was only an average film.
