With a Justice League movie confirmed, who should be the main villain of the movie? Of course Darkseid is the League's greatest enemy (and possibly the DCU as well) so there's no doubt in my mind that he'll be in a Justice League movie. Whether he's in the first film, or they build him up to be in sequels, he will show up. If there were to be more than one Justice League movie, then who should be the villain other than Darkseid?

@zaied: It'd need major buildup on GL's and stuff, and all the corps.

Anti-Monitor needs a buildup on the multiverse concept unless you want to nerf him and make him a Galactus level threat. Injustice League needs a series of movies not just Batman vs Superman. Lex Luthor is overused. The 'alien invasion' concept will be used for Darkseid so doing TWO invasions is overkill. IMO it will just be like Secret Invasion so no Martians. So maybe Brainiac or Starro. The majority of movie goers don't really get the multiverse concept and some may think the evil-twin concept is overused so no for CSA.

I'd actually like to see a female take the role the as the main antagonists/villain this time. I was a bit surprised that none were chosen to vote for. Maleficent and MOS's Faora has taught me that female villains can be just as intimidating and powerful as the male ones can be and in some cases even stronger. So I what I'm saying is it would be cool if they changed things up a bit this time and chose female villain.
