This is my first topic and i was wondering what are your thoughts about comics this year.

BEST COMIC: Ultimates 2 (great action, quick turns, politically incorrect)

BEST STORY ARC: Devil in Cell Block D (Daredevil)

BEST WRITER: Grant Morrison (wildcats, batman, 7 soldiers, all star superman; this guy goes from good to awsome)

BEST ARTIST: Jim Lee (i think he only made 2 complete comics and some covers this year, but his work keeps improving)

BEST LIMITED SERIES: Justice (pre crisis heroes working united, solving problems from the post crisis era...good concept)

BEST GRAPHIC NOVEL/ONE SHOT: Batman/The Spirit (full of jeph loeb surprises and darwyn cooke goodness)

i definitely don't read as much as the other guys around here, but jim lee's art blows me away without fail.

best movie: the descent i thought wizard magazine was on crack when the said this but after watching it myself it was a great movie.

Best movie and cartoon, good, i'll add rookie of the year (favorite new title). Also share your thougts and give your nominations, it's not like anything is written in stone.
