Best Mothers and/or Fathers in Comics?

There are many people in comic characters that get to where they are mostly because of what their parents had drove into them as a kid. So turned out bad, some good. Who do you believe is a good father and/or mother? If you want you could say why they, to you, are a good parent. Other people may agree others may not. This is not solely a biological parent, it came be a foster, step or other. Name as many as you like, but it would be nice to hear the reason why you think they are the best or among the best.

Martha Kent and John Kent, because they raised the worlds greatest super hero.

Alfred if he counts, becuase he practically raised bruce, dick, jason, tim, and damian.

Aunt May and Uncle Ben because they taught peter good morales, to respect people, and that with great power come great responsiblity

those are the top three i can think of

for the bad parents theres:

Norman Osborne, do i need to explain

Darkseid, same

captain americas dad was a jerk

Omni-man beat the living poop out of invincible

and the worsed dad of all the Comedian,

This is a tough one because even some of the greatest heroes either had no parents growing up or they are parents themselves and they are terrible at it. Martha and John Kent were definitely great parents as was Aunt May & Uncle Ben Parker and I guess Alfred if he counts. He's not really Batman's father but he was definitely played that role for Bruce. Jessica Jones & Luke Cage are decent parents. The Avengers have some of the most ridiculous relationships to children though.

Rick Grimes. He has been able to keep his son alive in a post apocalyptic world where just about everything dead or alive is trying to kill them.

Sue Storm as well. Raising two kids successfully with basically an absentee father.

Nolan Grayson lololololol

His wife is really nice though. She took care of her husbands bastard like her own. Although I'm worried about him.
