best marvel runs?

Hickman's Fantastic Four/FF run is terrific.
Best run by either of the Big Two in years IMO. Brubaker's Captain America was awesome. JMS's Thor was great and far better than Fraction's. Slott's ASM is kicking butt. David's Hulk is the gold standard for the character. DnA's cosmic titles were awesome. I could go on for a while but those stick out for me as for recently other than David's Hulk.
Edit: Cornell's Cap Brit and Mi13 was a surprisingly good title but I haven't been reading Scarlet Spider it's been suggested so I might check it out soon.
Immortal Iron Fist by Fraction/Brubaker
Nextwave by Warren Ellis
Punisher/Max by Garth Ennis
X-Statix by Peter Milligan

From what I've heard it's very good. Haven't read it yet myself but it's on my reading list.

It made DD my favorite marvel character
You asked about Scarlet Spider. I personally think it's really good stuff. Worth buying. From 2000+ I'd also reccomend Venom (Remenders run) and Amazing Spider-man (Slott's run).

- Mark Waid Daredevil
- Brubaker Captain America and Winter Soldier
- Fraction Iron Man and Hawkeye
- Remender Venom and Uncanny X-Force
- JMS Amazing Spider-Man and Thor
- Vaughn Runaways
- David X-Factor
- Liu X-23

Agree with all of this!
1. Bendis- Ultimate Spiderman
2. Stracynski- Thor
3- Whedon- Astonishing X-Men
4. Brubaker- Captain America
5. Greg Pak- The Incredible Hulk
Hickman: Fantastic 4 and Avengers
Bendis: New Avengers, Ultimate Spider-Man
Rick Remender: Uncanny X-Force
Chris Yost and Craig Kyle: X-Force, X-23
Chris Yost: Scarlet Spider
JMS: Amazing Spider-Man (not counting One More Day)
Brian K Vaughn: Runaways
Matt Fraction: Hawkguy
Si Spurrier: X-Men: Legacy
And last, but certainly not least (my favorite actually): Mark Millar: The Ultimates 1 and 2
Despite this being 2 years old..
1. Bendis- Ultimate Spiderman
2. Stracynski- Thor
3- Whedon- Astonishing X-Men
4. Brubaker- Captain America
5. Greg Pak- The Incredible Hulk
Bendis Ultimate Spider-Man
Fraction's Hawkeye
Hickman's FF and New Avengers
DnA's Nova/ GOTG
Are great suggestions as well as
Morrison's New X-Men
Bendis's Daredevil (as well as Smiths, Brubakers, and Diggles), Avengers
Geoff Johns - Avengers
Warren Ellis - Iron Man
Fraction/Brubaker - Immortal Iron Fist
I can think of more but this is good for now
Its my opinion that Brubakers Captain America is slightly undeserving of all the credit it gets mainly due to the artwork. It wasnt bad art, just wasnt great either. And its portrayal of Captain America took some getting used to, not just his personality but his appearance too, he looked fat and out of shape.
I liked the writing though, it especially had me hooked towards the middle and end of the Winter Soldier arc
Chris Claremont 1975-1991 greatest comic run of all time. Done
Morrison's New X-Men, Immortal Iron Fist and Warren Ellis' Moon Knight and Thunderbolts.
I've almost collected all the individual issue's of Immortal Iron Fist. I only need issues 1-5 and issues 17-27
I've heard good things about it.
