Can anyone suggest some really good hardboiled/noir/detective comics? The reason I say no Bat books is that I'm reading a lot of them already. I'm looking for something else detectivie though?
Best detective comics (except Bat books)
@mr_clockwork91: I've devoured Question a bazillion times (its great) and I've read 100 bullets. Ya have anything else? I'm running on empty here lol.
Scalped, Marvel 1602, From Hell, Transmetropolitan, I hear Chew is good, Criminal, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo(Not a comic but highly recommend reading it), Green River Killer. Thats all I got.
@hit_monkey: Pick up Brubaker's Scene of the Crime or Criminal. Hell anything by Brubaker really. Checkout Tumor by Josh Fialkov.
@longbowhunter: Thank you buddy! Will do.
@mr_clockwork91: Cheers, I'll get right on those you said I hadn't already read. Cheers again, pal.
DMZ has some good detective elements, though its more of a drama.
I also recomend Greg Rucka's run on Punisher. It had some nice detective stories too.

Chew is good, though I don't think it's really what the OP is looking for.

@billy_batson: Is Road to Perdition anymore different than the movie?
Read the original Sherlock Holmes books from BACK in the day. I have one but I can't seem to find it.

I haven't seen the movie. There have been other installments of it in comic form by the same creator.

Agatha Christine's hercule poirot has an anime/ cartoon adaptation.. Good books most of them, although a lot of people hate her lol

There's currently a Watson and Holmes comic that might interest you and the OP.

Also, Detective Chimp!
Cheers for all the suggestions, guys. I'll be getting right on them. :)
Have you read Fatale? It's exactly what you're looking for :)
