Hi! Welcome to another week of Best Comic Book Covers where we take a look at what comic book covers were really awesome. It was a huge week for super-awesome covers, and we tried our best to narrow it down. Let's get right to the meat, shall we?

The very first cover this week comes from none other than BATWOMAN #23. This stunning cover was put together by interior artist J.H. Williams III. There's a lot happening on the cover here and your eye keeps moving across the page. What really catches the reader's eye is the use of color: shades of red. This is a cover you could stare at for quite a while and still find new things going on.

Next up is this incentive cover to JUDGE DREDD #10. It was very hard to find out who drew this cover, but apparently it was James Biggie. So propaganda posters have this weird, special place in my heart, so any time I see a comic book cover pull one off effectively, it makes me very happy. This particular cover is reminiscent of a couple World War II era posters, and the tag "Dredd is Watching You" just adds to the awesomeness of it.

The next cover in our list comes from artist Declan Shalvey, and what you have here is VENOM #39. Sometimes even something that looks pretty simple can have very complexed elements to it. There's a great flow to this cover, by the way Venom hangs down. The flow continues in the background with the webbing as well. By now, you probably realize a few of us have a thing for covers like this. These a bit more flat looking covers that really differ from interior artwork.

We can all agree that Chris Samnee is really awesome, right? Ok... see you later! Well, here's Daredevil #30. Samnee's art style is very interesting. We've spent the past decade in a world where comic art has been insanely detailed, and there's this movement of artists with a more cartoonish style, reminiscent of the Silver Age, that's been popping up more and more. With this cover, Samnee's work is brilliant, as well as colorist Javier Rodriguez's use of colors and making these characters pop off the page. In addition, the title of the book, worked into the background, looks pretty awesome.

Well, it's hard not to mention the fact that Mike Allred and Laura Allred did a cover this week as well. Here we have the cover to BATMAN 66 #2! The Allred's have a very distinct style which really works for this very tongue and cheek series. This cover really captures the tone and fun of this book. In addition, there's nothing funnier than the frozen looks on Batman and Robin as they're frozen in ice. Laura Allred's color work on Batman's cowl is fantastic here. Great shading around the edges.

Well... That's it! Those are our choices for best covers. Do you agree? Do you disagree? Let us know in the comment section, and we'll see you next week guys!

Idk why but something about the red in these two pictures is vibrant and distinct. Great work.

I loved the standard Bloodshot and Wonder Woman covers, Revival was pretty good as well, but my pick of the week is Indestructible Hulk. Honestly, Hulk riding a T-Rex with cowboys...how did this not make it?

Batwoman always has great covers it seems. Really like that Judge Dredd one, it's supposed to be referencing the book 1984 ("Big Brother is watching you")
