It's the end of the week and that means it's time to take a look at the coolest comic book covers that the industry had to offer this past week. We also ask our followers on Twitter what they thought was super-rad as well. This week offered a lot of great looking art and this week, none of it was Star Wars related. @uncanny_xfactor: I miss the time when there were more than five covers with descriptions. I mean Best Comics has like 15 comics while I find 5 covers in this article. Some of the ones that pop up in the Comment section are more awesome than the ones they display

Timewalker covers are good. but all your other pics are just meh. It's like you don't even try with these. How Gotg didn't make it is beyond me.

@donfelipe: I haven't had a chance to read it but it does have some good covers.

@wekos1187: the entire series has had some crazy variants but there is just something about that one that I love.

@donfelipe: The world doesn't deserve her. She is too good for it. (sobs)

@pikahyper: Yup. The interior art is even better and will blow your mind! Just keep in mind you will probably need to read each issue several times before you're getting used to the story telling and the rather abstract drawings. BB: Winter Solider or Elektra are easy reads compared to Intersect. Do you know if Ray Fawkes illustrated other comics, too?

Searching for people/creators doesn't have any options to filter for writers, artists, colorists, cover, gender, etc., unfortunately.

@donfelipe: I think he mainly does pin-ups and covers art-wise.

No, he's done interior art for American Vampire, Chew: Warrior Chicken Poyo, Jam! Tales From the World of Roller Derby, as well as his own graphic novels Possessions series, One Soul and the People Inside for Oni Press.

@billy_batson: I guess CBDB has him mislabeled then cause I looked him up for American Vampire and Poyo and it just said pin-up and the Possessions and People Inside pages wouldn't load.

@billy_batson: Some interesting comics and graphic novels there! Thanks. Have you read One Soul and People Inside? Their format and way of simultaneous story-telling is quite intriguing but how difficult is it to keep track of each character's life story? Perhaps it's part of the unique reading experience. I just wouldn't want to re-read a 200-page long graphic novel too often, like 18 times!

AV -- I should have remembered "Canadian Vampire" from the AV Anthology, by Lemire/Fawkes.
CHEW -- Warrior Chicken is illustrated by Rob G. Sometimes I do remember! Maybe that's one of those pin-ups at the back of the issue?
