I was having this discussion with a friend the other day and now I'm curious to see who a larger sample space of readers thinks is presently at the top of their game. Not so interested in "so-and-so is the best writer ever" because of things they wrote 10, 20, 30 years ago. The question is who, still in the business and currently writing, has been producing the best stories (over the past 2-3 years)?
